After sustained 40–50 MPH wind gusts, torrential rain, power outages, and street closures, DWP utility crews got to work quickly, removing tree limbs from power lines and helping turn the lights back on. This work can be dangerous and is often under-appreciated.
Through AGZA’s testing network, we can shadow crews in their natural work environments to better understand how AFTC Certified equipment performs and holds up over time under real-world conditions.

Feedback from utility companies has been positive, particularly regarding Milwaukee’s emphasis on developing and bringing to market commercial-capable battery-electric saws, trimmers, loppers, and blowers.

One of the biggest advantages for many utility operations is that they already have Milwaukee batteries and tools for electrical and plumbing work. In many cases, existing Milwaukee batteries can also power their new lawn, garden, and vegetation-management equipment. This cross-compatibility is helping simplify adoption and maximize existing investments in battery-electric equipment.
AGZA will continue tracking the performance and progress of the recently announced AGZA AFTC Certified Milwaukee tool line and share field findings with the industry.
