City of Glendale Gas Powered Leaf Blower Ban
Only Electric Leaf Blower can be used within the City of Glendale. The use of gas-powered leaf blowers is prohibited. Enforcement starts September 1, 2024.

City of Glendale GWP Rebate Program
- All electric leaf blowers qualify for rebate.
- Limit 1 rebate every 5 years per customer at the same residence.
$50 rebate if purchased in Glendale
$40 rebate if purchased outside Glendale
Rebates and Electric Alternatives
Rebates for electric leaf blower and landscaping equipment for commercial landscaping companies are available through California CORE, South Coast Air Quality Management District, and Glendale Water & Power for electric customers. Residents can receive a rebate for an electric leaf blower through Glendale Water and Power.
