ELEVATE 2024 in Charlotte, North Carolina

Charlotte, NC — Thank you NALP (National Association of Landscape professionals) for yet another amazing industry gathering in Charlotte North Carolina. As usual, the experience is first class from the first day to the last. NALP events facilitate substantive quality connections and conversations that keep the engine of our industry going. AGZA would also like to give a nod the city of Charlotte for a top-notch experience hosting this year’s NALP Elevate conference. The people of Charlotte are friendly, professional, accommodating, and sincere.

AGZA Founder and President Dan Mabe was honored to provide a session at this year’s conference dedicated to providing education and case studies on large battery electric implementations and operations under AGZA Green Zone Certification Standards Levels 1 & 2. The session presented workload production and cost of operation differences between gas and battery electric operations. The presentation ended with a robust Q&A that flushed out many concerns and questions about the safety, practicality, and workflow modifications that come with the two different technologies of gas and electric. Business models of battery electric were explored in institutional and private sector operations.

The AGZA team, led by Esther Wu, made their rounds to all of the AGZA AFTC field tested certified manufacturers to learn about new developments and improvements of their battery electric OPE platforms. AGZA also discussed 2025 goals and future roadmaps that each AFTC manufacturer will take on encouraging wider adoption for commercial battery electric systems.

AGZA acknowledges the NALP team, sponsors, participants, and businesses who supported this year’s convention. We look forward to 2025 in Phoenix, Arizona!
