Dan Mabe – Founder of the American Green Zone Alliance® (AGZA) comes from the gas-powered landscape maintenance industry. Seeking a safe and responsible transition solution for lower - impact operations of lawn and garden equipment, Dan has devoted over two decades to developing and applying clean battery technology for the grounds maintenance industry.
To further the acceptance of cleaner battery powered technologies, Dan created and implemented the American Green Zone Alliance “Green Zone®” certification program which includes outreach, training, and impact reporting. AGZA works with States, Counties, Municipalities, Academic Institutions, Landscape Maintenance Companies, Contractors, and Air District Agencies providing sustainable grounds maintenance education and consultation.



Wilson is a specialist in paid advertising, strategic planning, and visual creation. With a decade of experience, he expertly blends market insights with creative vision to drive brand engagement and ROI. His leadership consistently delivers impactful and measurable results, making him an invaluable asset to our team.

Mario is a creative and strategic Social Media Manager who excels at crafting engaging content and building vibrant online communities. With her keen eye for trends and deep understanding of social analytics, he effectively amplifies brand presence and fosters meaningful interactions.

Esther has a background in electronics manufacturing and experience as a human resources director. She is AGZA’s logistics and filed coordinator and handles certain administrative responsibilities. Her experience and skill sets are ideal for helping AGZA manage and execute the eL&G Program.

Beth brings a robust background in the Financial Services industry, specializing in operational and project management. Her expertise in identifying inefficiencies, developing innovative solutions, and leading cross-functional teams makes her a valuable asset to the AGZA support team. Beth has been supporting various AGZA projects, as well as data analytics for ELF. (Environmental Landscape Footprint)

Howard is instrumental in developing outreach material and collaterals for social media and emails campaigns and has over four years of experience with AGZA positioning battery electric equipment for educational purposes.

Kevin has been with AGZA for over five years helping independently test battery electric tools in commercial settings, provide Spanish interpretation at AGZA workshops and classroom sessions.

Richard A. McCoy is an advocate for Regenerative and Low-impact Land Care. In 2017, Richard became New Jersey’s first AGZA-Certified Service Pro, and Service Pro Company since that time he has collaborated with the American Green Zone Alliance (AGZA) on pioneering projects. In June of 2021, Richard was named AGZA’s Northeast Representative.
Richard has been involved in New Jersey legislative efforts addressing gas-powered leaf blowers and invasive species. He also introduced the AGZA Green Zone Showcase, to the New Jersey Nursery and Landscape Association annual two day trade event This is a innovative trade show concept featuring AGZA Certified (AFTC) manufacturers and expert-led educational programs, and successfully launched its first event in 2023.
Focused on expanding AGZA’s impact, Richard is dedicated to advancing the AGZA online, hands-on education model throughout the Northeast.

Zack Kline is the CEO and Founder of Rockville, MD-based A.I.R. (a Montgomery County Green Certified Business), which offers battery-powered maintenance, natural, organic lawn care, robot-mowing, and ecological landscaping services. Kline is a Chesapeake Bay Landscape Professional, and Maryland Certified Pesticide and Fertilizer Applicator. In January of 2024, Zack was named AGZA's Mid-Atlantic Representative.
Zack has been involved in Maryland and District of Columbia legislative efforts addressing lawn pesticide use and gas-powered leaf blowers including Montgomery County, MD’s Healthy Lawns Act of 2016, Montgomery County, MD Bill 18-22, Noise Control – Leaf Removal Equipment, and the District of Columbia’s Leaf Blower Regulation Amendment Act of 2018
Zack has been serving on the Board of Directors of the Landscape Contractors Association (LCA) of DC, MD, and VA since 2020, and is currently the President. Zack was awarded the 2022 LCA’s Emerging Professional Award for his leadership on sustainability and pioneering solutions for the Landscaping Industry. In 2024 he created and launched the LCA's first Sustainability Symposium where AGZA was one of the keynote speakers along with Doug Tallamy.
